Electronic Control Unit – ECU
JSX Technology Electronic Control Unit (ECU), is designed to support streaming video from a camera to the end user. In addition to streaming video JSX Technology ECU will manage the heater and shutter functionality and it performs authentication. As this is used in Law Enforcement vehicles it is critical that it is reliable and trouble free.
Current JSX Technology ECU functionality available:
- Able to power up and operate a NOPTIC® Nighttime Optical Thermal Imaging Camera.
- Incorporates the maximum 9260 deserialization to receive the digital data provided by the camera.
- Outputs real time video in multiple video formats.
- Has the ability to authenticate the Camera, in respect to Link Specification provided by customer.
- Has the ability to control the heater, in respect to Link Specification provided by customer.
- Has the ability to control the shutter, in respect to Link Specification provided by the customer.
