Prostate Cancer Scanner – JSX Technology
JSX Technology designs custom systems for many customers such as this assembly for use in critical medical biopsy equipment. This design incorporates critical fault tolerance safety checks to ensure there is no over-exposure of ultra-violet light to the patient.
The SX Technology’s Prostate Cancer Scanner system from has two sets of fail safe:
- Measures the exposure time and closes the shutter
- Measures the machines timer and deactivates the equipment to ensure it does not exceed the maximum allowed exposure time.
The system is fully compliant to: EN60601, ANSI IESNA RP-27.1, 2 & 3, BS EN 62471, 21 CFR Part 1040.10 and 1040.11
